servewithbellsAssisting the Poor and Homeless
In 1997, Central opened the Outreach Center as an extension of its programs to aid Atlanta's impoverished and homeless residents. In 2002, the center expanded its mission to include advocacy—organizing efforts to develop and promote fair and compassionate public policies that address economic injustice.

The Central Outreach & Advocacy Center (COAC) is maintained as an independent, non-profit agency separate from the church, and is administered by an independent board and staff. You can find out more about the center's history and current work by visiting its website.

Special Advocacy Report from the OAC

The Central Outreach & Advocacy Center asked candidates for Atlanta citywide offices to complete a questionnaire on issues related to homelessness.  To read their reponses, click here >>
