Overview

Central Night Shelter welcomes the support of all people interested in participating in a ministry of compassion for the homeless.

There are several roles for volunteers in running the shelter on a daily basis:

• Street Crew
• Trainer
• Meal Volunteers
• Sack Lunch Providers
• Overnight Volunteers

A description of each role and its duties can be downloaded here. To sign up for a shift, please contact the appropriate volunteer coordinator.

Open Nights

Because the shelter depends entirely on volunteers for its staff and administration, we frequently have openings arise at the last minute. Experienced volunteers, please consider whether you may be able to serve on one of the evenings listed below:
