One Ministry - Two Locations
The Central Night Shelter is a ministry of hospitality and compassion to homeless men in downtown Atlanta. It occupies space in two churches, Central Presbyterian and the neighboring Catholic Shrine of the Immaculate Conception
The shelter is open seven nights a week, beginning at 7 p.m., from November 1 to March 31 and offers its guests a hot meal, a warm safe place to spend the night, medical and foot care, and the fellowship of caring volunteers.
More information about the history and services available can be found on our Shelter FAQ page. You may also watch a short video about the Central Night Shelter and its mission:

How to Help
The shelter is an all-volunteer organization with no paid staff. Its operation requires the assistance of volunteers from more than 30 different churches, university groups, offices, companies, organizations, families, and individuals to fulfill its mission. Volunteers prepare and bring the meals, set up for dinner and sleeping, and spend the night at the shelter.
For more information on how to serve, please see our Shelter Volunteers page.
