As a church that strives for discipleship through engagement and advocacy in the city of Atlanta, we give our time and energy to multiple mission areas including fighting racism and inequality, ending homelessness, and supporting LGBTQIA initiatives.

Central Presbyterian Church has partnered with Caring Works to help end homelessness in Greater Atlanta. This non-profit organization provides comprehensive services and resources to people needing access to housing, mental health care, addiction treatment, and employment assistance. It offers both permanent and temporary supportive housing facilities, including Hope House.
Located in downtown Atlanta 1.5 blocks from Central Presbyterian Church, Hope House is a 70-bed residential facility that provides quality housing and structured support to adult men who have experienced homelessness and are in recovery from substance addiction. Hope House is a ministry of Caring Works.
GJP is a nonprofit organization that seeks to strengthen our community by advocating and providing legal representation for marginalized and economically vulnerable people in the Atlanta area. GJP has also been instrumental in drafting much of Georgia’s recent criminal justice reform legislation.
The Pollard and Covenant funds were established to improve life for marginalized communities by creating relationships with local non-profit organizations through financial contributions and in-person opportunities for service. The goal of the Pollard and Covenant funds is to create sustainability for projects or services that may require different sources of funding to maintain operations for a specific fiscal year. In doing so, Central Presbyterian Church becomes a partner with these organizations allowing for the opportunity of meaningful work in the city of Atlanta.

GFADP is committed to ending the death penalty in the state of Georgia. This non-profit organization provides community and support to incarcerated individuals and their families. GFADP, along with other partners, hold vigils at the state Capitol each time someone is scheduled for execution. They also offer educational events.
Central Presbyterian works in partnership with New Hope House (NHH), a non-profit organization located near Jackson, GA, that offers ongoing support to Georgia’s death row prisoners and their families. NHH also works to abolish the death penalty. Central members can participate by corresponding with prisoners, preparing meals for families, or helping to maintain NHH facilities. PBG is a partnership of Presbyterian Church (USA) congregations, non-profit organizations, and individuals that seeks (a) to educate members about effective public policy advocacy and (b) to advocate for public policies in the State of Georgia that support our most vulnerable neighbors. Current legislative priorities are health care for all citizens and increasing support for people experiencing homelessness. Central members attend meetings that provide legislative updates and meet with legislators in support of these priorities.
Emmaus House works to improve the economic and social well-being of Peoplestown and surrounding neighborhoods. Central Presbyterian works in partnership with Emmaus House by providing meals for residents and periodically restocking their food pantry. Each year, Central members show support for the LGBTQIA community by marching in the annual Atlanta Pride Parade. We also support initiatives that affirm our LGBTQIA siblings within the city and in our community.
Since 1978, AMIS has been welcoming international students and scholars to the Atlanta area through our many programs and events which help them get to know our city and connect them to local families and individuals who want to serve and make international friends.
Our international students come from over 50 different nations and are students at Georgia Tech, Georgia State, Emory, Columbia Theological Seminary, Agnes Scott, Kennesaw State, Morehouse College, Oglethorpe University, Atlanta Technical College, Chattahoochee Technical College and Georgia Southwestern University.

Located in the most diverse square mile in North America, Memorial Drive Ministries (MDM) is a church-based non-profit that fosters diverse worshipping communities, innovative social services, and transformative relationships. Memorial Drive Ministries nurtures a safe, collaborative, and welcoming environment for the vibrant ministries that call the Memorial Drive campus home.
Central supports several of the new church developments that meet on the MDM campus through service and financial contributions. Several of the non-profit organizations at MDM seek donations and volunteers from the Central community on a regular basis.
Villa International is a Christian ministry that offers short-term residence to persons of all faiths and from all parts of the world. Since our doors opened in 1972, we have hosted over 26,000 guests from 179 countries. Our doors are open to scholars and researchers of many varieties. In short, we are a home away from home.

La Gonâve Haiti Partners is a faith-based development initiative co-led by the Episcopal Diocese of Haiti, an ecumenical group of churches in the United States, and ten local communities on the island of la Gonâve. For almost 30 years, the partnership has worked to improve access to healthcare, education, economic opportunity, sanitation, and clean water. While the partnership has a long track record of alleviating suffering and building strong communities, what truly sets us apart is our emphasis on empowerment and mutuality. In everything we do, both Haitian and American partners focus on making decisions together and working alongside each other to bring our shared hopes to fruition.

Based in the sister cities of Douglas, Arizona, and Agua Prieta, Sonora, Frontera de Cristo works to build relationships and understanding across borders. People often see borders as nothing more than division, but at Frontera de Cristo we see a place of encounter. Discerning God’s will for us, we serve migrants and community members on both sides of the border.
Through the building of community-driven partnerships with ministries and secular organizations in DouglaPrieta, we offer shelter, resources, education, emotional support, medical care, and new solutions. Our hope is that everyone we meet knows they are made in God’s image, they are worthy of respect, and they are welcome here.

Churches for Middle East Peace (CMEP) is a coalition of 30 national Church communions and organizations working to encourage U.S. policies that actively promote just, lasting and comprehensive resolutions to conflicts in the Middle East.
CMEP helps church organizations, leaders, and individuals nationwide advocate in a knowledgeable, timely, holistic, and effective way to express their concerns about justice and peace for all peoples in the Middle East.
Central supports CMEP through financial contributions, mission and learning trips to Israel/Palestine, and opportunities for learning.
Through the Presbytery of Greater Atlanta, since 2000*, the Joining Hands for Justice in Israel & Palestine Partnership has been committed to educating Presbyterians and the wider Atlanta Community about the conditions of Palestinians living under the Israeli Occupation. We have organized and led trips to Palestine/Israel to meet with our partners in the Holy Land and to learn about the reality on the ground.
