Advent Event

A multi-generational gathering at Central in late November to prepare for the season of Advent.  The evening includes a potluck meal, worship, and opportunities to make wreaths, Advent calendars, candles and to purchase alternative gifts from a fair trade market.

Block Party

Annually held at Central in May, this event brings together folks of all ages for games, lunch, and live music in our courtyard and adjacent state park. 

All-Church Retreat

Each Labor Day weekend, the Central congregation retreats to the mountains of Montreat, North Carolina, for a weekend of reconnecting with each other, learning, and worshiping.  The theme for the 2010 Montreat Retreat is Come All Who Labor.  READ MORE about his year's retreat including how to register.

Wine Tasting & Silent Auction

Co-sponsored by the Shrine of the Immaculate Conception and Central, this event took place at Central on Saturday, October 3.  Wine tasting, heavy hors d'oeuvres and live music were provided as over 200 attendees bid on fabulous auction items.  Proceeds from the event benefited the Central Outreach and Advocacy Center and the Shrine's Saint Francis' Table.
