Each Labor Day weekend, the Central congregation retreats to the mountains of Montreat, North Carolina, for a weekend of reconnecting with each other, learning, and worshiping.  The theme for the 2013 retreat is Nurturing the Mustard Seed: Faith Stories in Everyday Relationships lead by Kate Ott.
